Zuken Inc. (“Zuken”) announced that board reference designs for Intel-produced IoT devices prepared in the “CR-8000 Design Force” CAD format are now available from Intel. The Zuken CAD users, in proper agreement with Intel, can download the reference designs at https://businessportal.intel.com/irj/portal.
Intel Corporation and Zuken are engaged in a technical partnership working to address convenience improvements for designs in Zuken CAD environments that use Intel platforms, and this provision of reference designs forms just one part of these efforts.
With the continued rise of IoT (Internet of Things) it is becoming all the more important for product development by embedded system manufacturers to be capable of highly advanced designs using the latest electronic components in a short period of time. Embedded system manufacturers using Intel platforms can now greatly reduce the time required for design reviews by immediately obtaining the reference design in Zuken CAD formats, making it possible to complete high quality board designs in a shorter period of time.
Zuken believes that this initiative greatly improve the efficiency of designs of embedded systems based on Intel® Architecture (IA). Intel and Zuken will look to collaborate further in the future to continue to enhance design efficiency for developers while providing optimal IA solutions for the emerging IoT market.
